OWASCO AIRFIELD DAYS - EVENT DATE AND SCHEDULE CHANGE! The annual Owasco Airfield Days event will be held on one day this year, Sunday, August 8, 2010. There will be an open fly in for all types of aircraft and the annual Long Hill Fire Department Chicken BBQ starting at 11:00 a.m. on the Airfield. The spot landing challenge and the E.A.A. Young Eagles Rally has been canceled for this year. Pilots, family, friends and neighbors are invited to fly or drive to the Airfield to join in the fun. Open field camping is available before, during and after the event. A $10 per night donation for camping is suggested. New for this year is the extended 2,300' x 50' runway and the airfield officially becoming a privately owned "public use airport"!
